Nokia 6101 review
A fantastic cell phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 6101, a cell phone that has been created to compete this year's market. Released around 01/7/2005 the 6101 supports the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 85 x 45 x 24 mm while weighting only 97 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Nokia 6101 comes with a beautiful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 720 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 4.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 350 hours. Its engineers included a 3.5 MB memory, enough for a regular use! An attractive option of the Nokia 6101 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 128 x 160 px.
Nokia designed the 6101 with a 24 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add a lot of ringtones. The gaming engine Nokia 6101 is running on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 6101 has support for both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The text prediction tool exploits the T9 technology, being very easy to use.
The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. The 6101 comes with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the Nokia 6101 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
