A great phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 3589i, a cell phone that has been created to revolutionize the mobile phone market. Launched around 01/10/2003 the 3589i is supporting the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 119 x 50 x 23 mm and having a weight of only 116 g, this phone has a perfect design. It comes with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 3.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 192 hours. Its engineers included a 1.5 MB memory, enough a normal use! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 96 x 65 px. Nokia has equipped its 3589i with a 4 chords capable ringtones, making a great phone for you to add all the ringtones you wish.

The gaming engine Nokia 3589i is running on BREW, supporting fun little games! Not surprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the 3589i enables both SMS and EMS. The calendar available is very intuitive and Nokia equipped it with a phone book having a contact list capacity of 500. The predictive text system is based on the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology.
